Research Interests

Primary interests include: cognitive linguistics, metaphor, conceptual blending theory, framing, discourse analysis. Has published and presented at conferences on these topics. Is founding co-editor of the CADAAD eJournal (Critical Approaches to Discourse Analysis Across Disciplines)

Educational interests include: philosophy of education, curriculum, educational policy, second language education, teacher education, adult education. Has worked as a teacher trainer, curriculum and materials developer, adult educator, educational administrator. Has been involved in a TLRP project on the epistemology of the educational case study.
