Projects Values and Classroom Practice in History and Mathematics Teaching is a small exploratory study concerned with the ways in which values are embedded in everyday classroom practice, and how teacher's subject identity is related to their values orientations. We have chosen to look at two school subjects which are generally seen to be contrastive in terms of their values stance. Links to early papers from this project (Bills and Husbands, 2004 and forthcoming) are given below. A Systematic Review of ITE Structures is being funded by the Teacher Training Agency and supported by the Evidence for Policy and Practice Information and Co-ordinating Centre (EPPI Centre) The review is seeking to answer the question "What evidence is there that the quality of ITE is influenced by its conceptual framework, organisational structure and management processes?" and expects to publish its first report early in 2005.
