Research Interests

Nick Gee is a Lecturer in Education and the Curriculum Tutor for Geography on the Secondary PGCE course. He holds management responsibility for Entry to ITE and Assessment within the Secondary PGCE programme and is the Academic Director for Subject Knowledge Enhancement Courses. He has published numerous articles on Geography fieldwork techniques in the GCSE journal 'Wideworld' and contributes to 'Geography Review' on Coasts and Rural Issues. He also works as a GCSE Examiner and as a consultant for GCSE & A level magazines and text books. His research interests lie in the evaluation of taught courses and in the application of ethnography to assess the value and importance of Geography fieldwork.
