Marion Agombar
Research InterestsMarion Agombar is the Keswick Hall Trustees' Field Officer for Religious Education, working within the Keswick Hall Centre for Research and Development of Religious Education. The Centre gives a focus for her work in supporting schools in the development of their RE curriculum. As well as being in charge of the PGCE RE Secondary course, she contributes to a variety of courses in the School, offering in-service training to teachers in schools. She acts as an advisor on Religious Education to the Norwich Diocesan Board of Education, and she is the Bishop's consultant on interfaith matters. As well as serving on the Standing Advisory Councils for RE in Norfolk and Essex, she is currently the Chair of the National Association of Standing Advisory Councils for Religious Education. She also serves on the education committee of the Council of Christians and Jews. Her particular research focus is on the teachers' role and understanding in a changing RE curriculum and the interface between personal beliefs and professional responsibilities.
