On the evening of Tuesday 25 November users with ENV-based central file store are due to be migrated to the new Nseries system storage gateways. The migration will take place from 17:30 and as such ALL USERS SHOULD LOG OUT OF THEIR PCS BY 17:15 AT THE LATEST to enable synchronisation of files to the new location. Failure to do so could result in some loss of work. File store will be available for use from the new location on the morning of Wednesday 26 November.

On Thursday 18 December the University network should be considered "at risk" due to engineering works being undertaken to improve the fault-tolerance of the service. For further information click on heading above.

Over the summer, ISD completed the first phase of works to refurbish the student IT spaces in the ITCS building. Two new spaces provide facilities for high capacity IT teaching and technology-rich group and individual study.

Broadsearch is UEA's new search interface giving access to the Library Catalogue, Digital Repository and electronic resources. It is available by clicking on Search Library Resources in the right hand column on the Information Services Website home page and the Academic Tab in The Portal or via the address http://broadsearch.uea.ac.uk. We are keen to gather comments from users of this new service. Click on the heading above to provide us with your comments.
