Leticia Goodchild
Research InterestsLeticia has been involved in pedagogic research in second / foreign language contexts since 1998. She is currently interested in the development of interculturality and the construction of identity through the use of Argentinian literature in multicultural second language classrooms in the British university sector. Leticia teaches Spanish ab initio and final year honours at the School of Language, Linguistics and Translation Studies at the UEA. Along with the development of Spanish language skills, her job involves the teaching of translation, Latin American culture and dissertation supervision. Leticia has also been involved in the delivery of Spanish language upskilling and teacher training sessions on CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) for PGCE trainee teachers at the School of Education at the UEA. She is a NILE (Norwich Institute for Language Education) trainer and consultant, and was recently involved in a project from the University of Southampton trialling a new language e-learning tool. Having been awarded funding from the Subject Centre for Languages, Linguistics and Area Studies, Leticia is now completing a research project on the use of Argentinian literature with foreign language learners.
