Many thanks to Dheeba Moosa for today's excellent presentation on her proposed research in the Maldives. This gave us an insight into the challenges faced by English language teachers there in the light of a curriculum exported from the UK and difficult working conditions - as well as the issues likely to be encountered by Dheeba in facilitating action research in this context.
