The inaugural Equal Opportunities International conference will be held from 1-3 July, 2008, at the University of East Anglia, Norwich. The conference will provide an international platform for exchange of knowledge across all strands of equality, diversity and inclusion at work. The first conference is organised by the research centre, Diversity and Equality in Careers and Employment Research (DECERe). Subsequent conferences are likely to travel internationally.

The conference will have a total of 80 delegates and ten Streams, in which there will be approximately eight presentations each. In addition, there will be several high profile keynote speakers, a doctoral colloquium, and a number of professional development sessions.
