Event location: EDU 1.40

In this seminar Teresa Belton will explain the concepts of the Global Fitness Framework and Global Leadership and how they were explored at a recent international conference at Anglia Ruskin University.

Under development by two senior lecturers at the Ashcroft International Business School, ARU, John Rayment and Jonathan Smith, the “Global Fitness Framework” and the notion of “Global Leadership” are a means of attempting to bring about a paradigm shift in the way that businesses and organisations are managed, such that they serve the real needs of human beings and of environmental sustainability.

The seminar will convey some of the talks and discussions that formed this first gathering of academics and practitioners from a wide range of fields around the concept of Global Fitness and Global Leadership in order to take forward progress towards “a sustainable, just and fulfilling human presence on the planet”, and the “global exercise of ethical, value-based leadership in the pursuit of economic and societal progress and sustainable development”.

A light lunch will be provided.
