Over the weekend, the Content Management System has been upgraded from drupal version 4.7.11 to 5.6. Most of the changes are 'under the hood' but this will enable better and more effective administration of the site. The new version will also make it possible to add new features in the future and make it generally more user friendly.

The biggest change users will notice is a new version of MySite. Everyone can now set up their own start page by clicking on My Site in the right hand column. The new startpage allows drag and drop and makes it easier to see more information at once.

More changes will be coming online in the next few weeks, most notably new front page options for research groups.
