Britney Spears, Ozzy and Harvard use same award winning CMS as this siteSubmitted by Dominik Lukes on Wed, 07/11/2007 - 22:16.
If it's good enough for Britney.com, Ozzy.com, and JenniferLopez.com it's also good enough for us. They all use the Open Source Content Management System (CMS) Drupal that is also used to run this website and the new PostGraduate portal PGOracle at UEA. Dries Buytaert, the project's founder, keeps track of interesting sites that use Drupal. Most recently, several universities in the US and Canada have decided to use Drupal.
United Nations, IBM, MTV, CBC, The Onion, Ubuntu, Grateful Dead, The New York Observer, Green Peace, Amnesty International, Die Zeit, and others have all found Drupal useful for community sites. The features that make Drupal popular is flexibility, openness and a large community of developers. Drupal has also recently won an award for Best Open Source CMS for the second year running.
