A very detailed document that needs more careful re-reading but for the moment a footnote re BSF. Currently large amounts of money are being invested in rebuilding schools (the last estimate I saw was £45b). From what I can tell architects are under pressure to work fast and this means that they dont have time to do the kind of conceptual and research groundwork that is required to rethink education when they build for next 30 years or so. I have been feeding them your and Michael's Bishops Park study as a model of how they might consult with schools but most say they only have time to work on the relatively technical task of updating buildings to meet current needs.
